Color blocking

Here's a sympathy card I made while playing around.  It uses blue ombre, a die cut (Cherry Lynn Designs) halfway into the cardstock, and a Peace diecut (PTI) over the top.  The finishing touch are butterfly punchies (MS).

Maude -- Handmade with love

These adorable little tea holders were made as Thank You gifts from Maude.  Maude is a student of mine.  She likes to say that she is "teacher's pet".  LOL!!  {wink}

Remember the 3x3 holder I made for the Hip to Be Square class?  Well, Maude made it into a tea holder with Tazo tea bags.

On another occasion, she created this tea bag holder.
Love the flower she used that has some Sticker glitter on it.

Perfect gift for tea for two.

Thank you so much, Maude!! I LOVE IT!!
PS, the Vanilla tea was very delicious!! :o)

Tea pal - Colleen

My tea pal, Colleen, was also my August Tea Swap partner. Remember the coloring image theme? Well, here is her package to me.

Handmade tea card, tea bag holder, double stick tape and two "washi" pen sets.

The card and tea bag holder.  At first I thought it was Minnie Mouse and friend having tea (Colleen loves Disneyland).  But she was they were bees (LOLOL!!).   She said it was us having tea together (note the beauty mark on the pink "bee").  LOL!!

Here's also a thank you card she created.  Love the texture on the hair!!

As usual, I had a wonderful package in the mail.  Thank you so much, Colleen!!!

August's tea swap was fun.  I saw how others colored images and created their cards.

If you want to join our little tea swap, drop me a line!  Open call is going out now.  The theme for October's tea swap is Halloween or Thanksgiving.

Have a great day!

My tea partner, Gail

The talented Gail from San Francisco was my partner this month.
You should see all the beautiful things she made with the Bird Song Graphic 45 line:

First of all, here is a picture of everything!

In this picture, we have a package of Earl Grey and Jasmine tea bags from Buckingham Palace, a little notebook of notecards, and . . .

a folder that holds these metal Scrapyard embellishments!!

Next we have a bookholder and a holder for two tea bags.  Mmmm, the tea bags are from Mighty Leaf Tea; can't wait to try them!

Lastly, we have this beautiful Screen Divider Card. I believe I saw the instructions at Splitcoast some time ago.
I am going to have to create one of my own! Isn't it beautiful!!

Thank you, Gail, for being a great tea partner and for sharing your talent with me!!

Cute and fun to make! I went out and used colors that I would not have put together. I also sent her two Tazo tea bags and some NOH Portuguese sausage mix, which I know she loves.

If you want to join our monthly tea swap, drop me a line and I'll send you more information!

Tags for AUW

We have an AUW (Aloha United Way) fundraiser at work.  Tomorrow is bake/craft sale.  I'm donating these Christmas tags as well as a couple of the Japanese doll frames I made last season for the sale:

The tags came about pretty easy once I got the idea.  The stickers are from NRN, I believe.  Border punch by Martha Stewart.  The clear plastic pillow box was from Heiko on sale, I picked up a while ago.
