"Words", black, white and a little something extra

We still have the tea swap every month if any of you are interested in joining us. May's theme was called "WORDS". The colors were black and white and a little something extra.

I knew I wanted to use Stamping Up's Hello You thinlits.  So I first printed on the computer "A Million and One" over and over.  Then cut it up to 3 3/4 x 5" both in landscape and portrait.  I used the landscape to make the card.

With the portrait printout, I made a little bag to hold the two tea bags. The elephant diecut was cut out free hand.  I added a strip of the yellow paper onto the binder clip and added yellow gingham ribbon.  This went to my partner Colleen.  I'll show you what she made for me tomorrow.

Mojo Monday Sketch

I have decided to start challenging myself to make a card a week, currently using the Mojo Monday sketches (see link below with photo).  This is the sketch for this week.

And here is the card I created with the inspirational sketch.

So, hopefully challenging myself will mean more post!  Yah!   Enjoy your day and have a great week!

Challenge #130 - LO Sketch

This week on sketchesbytamara the challenge is a layout sketch. You all know how much I love sketches so this is one of my favorite challenges. Here is the sketch:

This is what I did with the sketch. These are my buddies from the PAWS group. A few years back, Jeanne did Dallas (seriously, she had some training), so some of us Texas girls took her out on the town. It was a fun weekend which I'll treasure (even with that car ride provided courtesy of Jeanne).

Let's see what you do with this sketch!
