APT Waves 2

Those of you who were fortunate enough to pick up the latest stencil by Bill at A Place in Time really lucked out!!   I know I picked up the second to the last one off the shelf.

It is called Waves 2 and I used it on this simple greeting card.  I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it the moment I saw it displayed.  Here, I paired it with Greeting Farm's Surfing Ian, some sprinkles and a little bling.  The stickles are still wet but it took 2 days just to finish this simple card between work and kid activities.

Unfortuately they are out of stock but I am sure if the demand is great enough, we can get Bill to make more so stop by at A Place in Time soon.  Check out the sale and convince Bill to add more of this beautiful stencil on the floor!

Tea for Two . . .

. . . all the way from La Mesa, California.

This beautiful tea card with the little beaded ornament is from a long distance follower, Leslie F.  I look forward to hearing from her every so often.
Love the colors she used and the teapot/cup and saucer diecuts.
The inside of the card looks like this.  Isn't it adorable!!

She also sent me two Harney & Sons - Peaches & Ginger black tea...MMmmmmm!! Just right on a rainy evening tonite!  BTW, last week I met Ava, the owner of the LSS that Leslie frequently visits..

Leslie, thank you so much for a thoughtful card and gift of tea.  I love it!  This is also a shout out, "HI" to all the ladies of her group in La Mesa, California!  Thank you very much for stopping by Little Paper Studio!

August Tea Swap - Where I Live

I live on Oahu, the third largest island of the Hawaiian islands, also known as the "Gathering Place."

The theme for August's tea swap is "Where I Live".
The optional color of this month's swap was the "color" of the area you live.
The official island color for Oahu is golden yellow.
Although the official flower of Oahu is the ilima,
I chose the plumeria on my card.
I used my punch art Hawaiian Girl, Stamp Plantation stamp

APT Plumeria stencil in SU Wild Wasabi and Peach Parfait colors.
The paper is by Anna Griffith.

Mango Peach and Passionfruit Orange flavored Tea
from Hawaiian Natural Tea completes the package to my partner who lives here, Monica.

Get Well Soon!

This adorable card by Debbie Henderson has been on my "I Wanna Try" Pinterest board for a LONG time!

Today, I wanted to send a little card to a dear friend who is recovering from an accident.
Isn't she just the cutie!  Here is the inside of the card and she fits nicely into an A2 envelope:
