AI Challenge Christmas Come Early Challenge #361

Hi, All:  In between classes, I thought I'd spend a little ME time and enter the AI Challenge Christmas Come Early.  Yes, it is a little early for Christmas cards, but the holidays are here and Christmas is right around the corner.  I used the following Art Impression stamps for this project:  Floral Invites, Greenery Invites, WC Christmas Wreath Set, and the adorable Gnome Set. Sentiment stamp by our local Rubber Stamp Plantation and colored it the Art Impression Way (watercoloring).

Christmas Tag Buffet - 10/29/2022

Aloha, everyone! I cannot believe we are halfway into the year! This month's class will be featuring Christmas in July. As I was creating the cards, I was actually getting excited for the Holidays!!

Good morning! We are having a Bauble Bar Class this Saturday, August 25, 2018!!

This year's holiday tags class is called "Bauble Bar". Come create 10 different holiday tags at your own pace (with an option to create 20 total tags). Above are samples of two tags we will create in class. Each tag includes some Bauble and/or bling.

Shoebox tag class - Saturday October 29

Hi, everyone!

This Saturday we are having a Shoebox Christmas gift tag class, and its the Last Class of 2015!  Here is a picture of some of the tags you will be making in class. You will go home with at least 10 tags.

Class is on Saturday, October 29 at 1:30 p.m. at A Place In Time.
Cost is $20.

Clear Christmas Tags

I just realized I never did post some clear holiday tags I made for Colleen:

 Let see, I used an acrylic sheet and diecut 3 tags:

 Then I applied rubons from Basic Grey:

 

and embellished the tags further with Acrylic Paint.  Fun!!

Christmas Gift Cards and Tags #2

Wow, my life is pretty busy right now but I wanted to show you a couple more projects we will be making in class this Saturday:



Here is a picture of one of the gift card holders which looks like a present. When you open up the gift card holder, the gift card slides up. We will be using some heavy weight paper here which makes your project look so professional!

The other item is an ornament tag using this pretty ribbon I recently picked up. Hopefully I'll have time to post another gift card holder so stay tuned!

We will create 2 gift cards and 5 gift tags.  Pictured are three of the gift tags we will be making in class.  

 Please bring the following supplies:  Tape adhesive  and glue of your choice, dimensional tape, corner rounder, paper trimmer, scissors, bone folder, scor pal or equivalent, crop-a-dile, TH Distress Ink Walnut Ink (or equivalent) and applicator (or foam sponge).

Holiday cards - A Class

Please note date change for the next and last class of 2014!

WOW, the Holidays are upon us!!  It's also a great time to start creating gifts for gift giving (if you haven't started already).

We will make these cute holiday cards and tag using both paperpiecing and punchart techniques. Besides these, we will also make a card holder, perfect for gift giving.

Class: Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 1:30p to 3:30p at A Place In Time.
Cost: $23

Supplies to bring: Scissors, Adhesive (tape and glue), Cropadile (if you have), white ink pen or acrylic white paint (if you have), dimensional tape, crafters chaulk (we will use a light pink or red), scoring tool

Tags for AUW

We have an AUW (Aloha United Way) fundraiser at work.  Tomorrow is bake/craft sale.  I'm donating these Christmas tags as well as a couple of the Japanese doll frames I made last season for the sale:

The tags came about pretty easy once I got the idea.  The stickers are from NRN, I believe.  Border punch by Martha Stewart.  The clear plastic pillow box was from Heiko on sale, I picked up a while ago.

February Mini Album Class postponed this month

Sorry but February's Felt Fusion Mini Album class has been postponed to March 29.

I always hate to reschedule or postpone classes. However in this case, my regular job - you know - the DAY JOB, is requiring me to work that weekend so, I hope you will all sign up and join me in March. Sneak peaks will be in a couple of days.

I found this picture of a Snowman card I created. The idea was lifted from an idea I found on Pinterest. It's so quick and fun and cute!! Hope you like it!!!

Christmas Contest time!!

Here's a fun, although Christmassy, contest!

Our office held an ornament contest before Christmas using ONLY Office supplies. I partnered with the person that sits next to me and this is what we created:

I thought it would match really well on a friend's gift. A little gift card behind the gingerbread man and another gift in the bag.

Another snowman topper

Here is another take on the Snowman Goodie Bag Topper I made earlier.

How about a PAPER BAG TOPPER? I purchased these white paper bags at Ben Franklin last year knowing I wanted to try some type of topper for them.  They turned out SO CUTE!!!


Here is a picture of the pieces I used to create the Paper Bag topper.  It is very similar to the other goodie bag topper but on a larger scale.  Also, there is a slit in the hat that comes over the package handles.  It works so well to cover the gift.

I must be in a Snowman mode because I just noticed most of my tags and wrapping are snowmen themed.

I forgot to take pictures of some of the other matching tags I created and I have only a couple presents to wrap. HURRAAYYY!! I'll try to take pictures of them so you can see more of my addiction!! LOL!!
