Today I had plans -- took off work to do some purging and card making but I got side tracked..... Spent the day watching a movie with #3, enjoying a large lunch together and worked on just one card!! That's right, just one card --- this one for the Spring/Summer Coffee (includes tea!) Lovers Blog Hop
It's my first time participating in the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. It's a huge blog hop and I am so excited to be participating this time around (Thank you, Carla!!) Check it out and join the fun! It runs until Friday, March 26. Recommended by tea swapper, Carla from The Netherlands-----and speaking of tea......
We still have our little tea (and 3x3) swap every month. If you are interested in joining us, send me an email!! We would love to have you join us. Requirements are pretty simple. For the tea swap, participants send a handmade card with two tea bags to their partner. For the 3x3 swap, exchange 2 3x3 handmade cards to your partner. All by the deadline. That's it!
Stamp (girl with tea cup and sentiment): gift from gal pal, Colleen (thank you, Colleen!!) by My Favorite Things, "Alm-You're My Cup of Tea".
Background stencil: Recollections "Coastal Village"
Flowers and diecut: Papertrey Ink "Bitty Bouquets" (another discontinued favorite)

So cute. Darling image and love the flowers.
Delightful card, I love the PTI flower cluster and the delicate stencilling!
A lovely card Fran.
Wonderfull to see you have joined the Coffee blog hop.
I'm not from Canada...if you mean me ;o)
I love how you framed that adorable image so beautifully with the florals!
I thought I left a comment here yesterday, but maybe I didn't press publish. I wanted to say that I admire this card, especially the super large cup image. Also, I wanted to answer your question to my blog post. The slim card base was from an old Making Memories card set. Each card does have a double slit through which a message card can be slipped. I don't think the cards are available anymore, but it shouldn't be difficult to cut a double slit yourself. Thank you for reading my blog and leaving great comments. Keep posting...you have an enjoyable blog.
So very pretty 😍

I love your coffee creation! beautiful card and design!
I’m hoping over from the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop.
