A Great Day for Scrapping!!!

Scrapbooking, that is.  I actually finished 3 layouts today and totally enjoyed the process:

Layout #1  Playing catch up on the boys' school album.  The stamped image (journaling area) is by Hero Arts, "Ledger".  Once #1 son's grades come in, I'll use the old fashion typewriter to list his classes and his grades.  He's been on the President's list for several years now!! :o)  Paper by CTMH Majestic Blue, Sizzix letters and Cricut stars and applies.

Layout #2  This is #2 son's Spring Picture from last year.  I'm not sure yet what I am going to put in the journaling block.  Maybe his likes and dislikes.  Paper by Sweetwater. Mad About Plaid.

Fun layout using Pebbles Inc., So Tweet Collection

We then headed out to enjoy the sun and surf at Kailua Beach.

What a WONDERFUL day!!!

Prototype library pocket/gift card holder

I wish I took a picture of this unfinished.  If I am not sure how something will turn out I will create it on whatever paper is laying around.

This WAS a prototype of the pocket card/gift card holder class I taught earlier this month.

I mean it was really plain with no embellishments or anything, just the guts!
Here is the one I taught in class.

You can see the resemblance. I was going to throw it away but decided it was still useable :o)
I added all the embellishments and handstitching

 Which one do you prefer?

My New Personalized Stamp

I created and had this stamp design made.  I LOVE how it turned out!!
It is the perfect size (about one inch wide and 1.5 inches tall.

If I want to, I can add a little blink inside the flower which is what I did above.  Actually, I added Liquid Pearls.  If you want to create your own personalized stamp, design an image and take it to a local stamp store.  I found the price to be much cheaper than ordering one of those pre-made images elsewhere.

Masculine Tea Swap Card

My tea swap partner this month is Ms. Gail Woo from California.  My handmade card incorporates the optional theme (masculine) and optional color combination (black, brown & beige).

This is the tea holder of my favorite Chai Tea.
I also included a special flavor from Lupicia!

Here is the inside of the holder
And the handmade masculine card.
The inside is blank so that it can be used for any occasion.

I can't wait to see what Gail created for me.  She is a very talented person and always surprises me.
