Card Class - Saturday, July 25

Happy Monday!  Sorry, this class announcement is late.  My time ran away from me and I've been experimenting with a new pop up technique for class.  I'll see if I can upload a video later.

Please bring your Basic Card Class Supply Kit and include a ruler and blunt tip tool to score some lines for the pop up or just bring your scoring device (i.e. scor-pal).

Aloha with a Touch of Color Class

This Kona low storm has been with us for a couple of weeks now and I'm ready for the blue skies and sunshine to come back!  One thing about tropical storms, though (And this Kona low is really bad!), after the rain we have rainbows and waterfalls.

We are having our second March class on Saturday, the 28th, 1:30 p.m. at Jade's Place in Kailua.  We will be creating 5 cards and here are three of them.  Please bring your basic card class kit.

Class MARCH 7 (date change)

Hauʻoli Makahiki Hou and Gung Hei Fat Choi!  Wow, we had a bad rain storm this weekend.  Hope you all are safe.

It’s been a while. I had need of some R&R and needed to take care of some family issues. So….who can’t wait for another year of classes 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

Our February class got postponed to March 7, 1:30 pm at Jade’s place in Kailua. Class is still $25 and an extra kit of $11.   

I thought I’d cut up some of the beautiful washi paper I brought back from Japan for this class.  We will be making two spinner cards and the left over washi pieces will be used to create other cards.  IRL, the cards are beautiful, it is hard to capture the gold and silver in the washi paper.

Bring your basic card class kit.

Last Class of 2025

 Hello, I'm back!  Sorry for the late post.  Class is scheduled for Saturday, October 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Jade's Place, Class fee: $25.  Since it is the last class of the year, we are having a potluck party.

This month we will be creating a modge podge of cards (two cards for Christmas, one Aloha card, one birthday and one all occasion).

I thought I would pull out Stampin Up's Charming Duck Pond set with matching papers for this class.  Love the color combination they used in this set: Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, Peach Pie, Pretty Peacock and Pretty in Pink.  In fact, the colors are what drew me in.

Additional cards to create in class but oh my! Lots of little pieces but very cute!!  By the way, if you have those pick up pens with the wax tips, bring them to class. You will find they help a lot with the tiny pieces! See you in class💕

Saturday's Case - Perfectly Paired

More samples for Saturday's class.  As you know, I always include flowers on my cards but for this class.... Hey, look, Girls, No Flowers!!  

These cards are from the SU Snailed It Set which I am just loving ... all of a sudden :o). The background envelope stamp is from Taylored Expressions Sealed With Love.

SU Conversation Bubbles.  Ok, I fudged a bit.  There is one flower on this card ;o)

Perfectly Paired Class

Hula Girls II Sneak Peak

Class - Hula Girls II

The prior Hula Girls card class was very popular so, as promised, we are having a Hula Girls II class on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Jade's place in Kailua.  Time:  1:30p to 4:30p.  Cost:  $25.  RSVP your attendance right away so I can make sure I have enough kits since there are lots of diecutting involved! :o)

I am still designing the other cards but the one above is a card you will be making.  Please bring your tweezers, your favorite needle point adhesive (like the Precision Glue Press you all have) as well as your Basic Card Class Supplies kit (See below).  Feel free to bring stamps containing Hawaiian phrases from your own stash (i.e. Aloha, Mahalo, etc.).  Hope to see you there!
