More VB layouts
This was a quickie using the Imaginisce line of VBall papers and stickers. I actually used deco scissors for the scallops!! I cut the title "Shopping" from my KNK (which is yet another electronic cutter out on the market that hooks up to your computer and cuts any fonts you have on your computer -thanks for those of you who asked last time).

Supplies to bring: Strong adhesive (like glue dots – large and small size); adhesive of your choice, Ailene’s Tacky Glue or other liquid glue, scoring blade, paper trimmer, scissors, pencil, brown chalk, black pen, brown marker, sewing needle and, if you have, bring black floss, beige or crème floss, deckle scissors, scallop scissors and a ripple scissors.

Tri-Shutter Card
This is the Tri-Shutter Card we made at the Club today using up those scraps that are just layout around, accumulating. Want simple, quick and easy instructions to create this elegant card?
You will start with a cardstock base 12" x 5 1/2"
Score at 2", 4", 8" and 10"
Now turn the cardstock 1/4 turn so that the 5 1/2" is at the top.
Measure in 1-1/2" and then slit between the 2" and 10" folds.
Repeat on the other long side.
Accordian fold the scored areas.
You are going to refold the center row so that its folds are opposite of the first and 3rd role. See my sample above. Refold the card. You have just completed the base of the card. Now embellish it.
Here are the measurements for the mats:
2 ea 1-3/4 x 5-1/4
2 ea 3-3/4 x 1-1/4
2 ea 1-3/4 x 2-1/4
4 ea 1-3/4 x 1-1/4
1 ea 3-3/4 x 2-1/4
The equivalent pattern paper sizes which are on top the mats:
2 ea 1-1/2 x 5
2 ea 3-1/2 x 1
2 ea 1-1/2 x 2
4 ea 1-1/2 x 1
1 ea 3-1/2 x 2
Special thank you to the ladies that corrected my measurements . . . you know who you are ;o)

Tea? For 2 Card
Remember the little tea bag pocket that Juana made for me last month? Well, here is my modified version. I thought it looked like a tulip so I lifted the holder and made this card. It's going to Daisy in Alabama.
With the tea bags, here is what the card looks like. It looks much better in IRL.

Tea Swap - From California!
Two cards from Juana S. arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to dig in! Check out the two beautiful cards she made. The cover of the right card actually held an extra tea bag in a tiny vellum envelope so I received 3 tea bags total: 2 - Honey of an Apple Snapple Black Tea and a Bigelow's Constant Comment. I'm sipping this Honey of an Apple. It is delicious and unique, haven't tried this one before.
One of the bags came in this handmade tea bag holder. Can you see potential in this idea? I see tulips! I think the next tea swap I'm going to leave this creative idea. Thank you, Juana, for the delicious teas and the creative cards!
If you want to join the fun, love tea, love creating cards, and meeting new people, let me know and I'll connect you to our Tea Swap hostess!
