Abstract Art - Class this Saturday

Good morning! Abstract Art has been on my mind this past month so we are creating some "abstract" cards. You would think it would be easy to just think of the layout but you need to think of placement, design, complementary colors and "white space". There are no pattern paper in this class and you can choose which sentiment you wish (i.e. create your own).

Hi, everyone!  Happy St. Paddy's Day!  I'm just going to post some pictures of the cards from the last class here.

February's Card Class

Hi, there! February's class is on Saturday, February 25 from 1:30p to 4:30p.  First we will do some googlie eyed cats and a shaker card.  I'll be adding some sympathy cards too.

Bring your Basic Card Class Supplies Kit to class:  A scoring device (i.e. scor-pal) and scoring tool (bone folder), black ink pad, a paper trimmer, scissors, both tape and liquid adhesive, black ink marker/pen, pencil and eraser, ruler, Versamark Clear Ink Pad, dimensional adhesive, tweezers, corner rounder, and Stampin Up Simply Shammy. 

If you have one, also also bring your stamping tool (i.e. Stamparatus or Stamping Platform).

Feeling Special Day 2

Once you smell the Puakenikeni, you will always remember it. It is one of Hawaii’s most loved flowers with a beautiful balance of jasmine, clementine and water lily. Yesterday, the fresh flowers were white (freshly picked). When it turns yellow, the fragrance is at its most powerful. 

The Pikake lei reminds me of proms and special occasion, gifted by or given to a loved one. The flower is a Jasmine and we have different varieties here. The one pictured, is a single bud type.
