Fall cards and Giving Thanks

A computer virus is a painful thing. It wastes our time and irritates us to no end. Do you ever wonder what nut created viruses? You'd think they would have a life!

Anyways, that's what been happening the past couple of weeks. Getting rid of viruses and cleaning up the computer.

Here's pictures of the other cards we made. We used Tim Holtz die, wire, nesties, APT stencils, SU Border punch, embossing powder, quickutz die, sizzix die, fiber, brads, and lace.

Christmas Tags

Another month and another set of tags for Kyoko's Christmas Tag Swap. I didn't follow directions :o( {sorry, K}. Instead of making 3 identical tags, I created 3 different tags. I hope Tia Iida from Kaneohe doesn't mind. They turned out surprisingly cute. I had no idea what the finished project would look like but I'm quite happy with the results. What do you think?

"Mr. and Mrs. Frosty"

"Rudolph"

This weekend I need to concentrate on my next card class for September 23. Have a great weekend, everyone!

What a blog surprise!

So this morning, I log on and what do a find? A mess of a blog!! Well, it's fine now. I've been tinking with creating my own template and I've now decided it's a higher priority!

That'll mean less time crafting . . . Oh well. Stay tuned for a new look in the upcoming weeks.

Simple Sympathy Card

My latest favorite technique: Embossing brass stencils on the diecut machine and coloring the image with ink pads. I love the air brush look. I've actually pulled stencils that were in my collection for at least 5 years! After I finished the card, I decided to add the Ribbon, you know, "Forget Me Not."

Embossing stencil by DreamWeavers, Nestibilities dies, SU Stamp pads, mini eyelets (unknown), SU Punch and sentiment, sheer green ribbon (unknown)

Tea gift

These little tea bags for two was created rather quickly. I made them for each of the Tea Swap members who join me each month. The optional theme of the month was Primary colors i.e. school. Well, I started with the apple and then went straight for a victorian look. So much for primary colors! LOL! Each bag holds 2 apple spice tea.
