The Handbag

Happy Spring!

In December, a group of tea friends got together:
There's me, Dori, Brenda, Sherri, Melanie, and Gail.  We met at Zippy's and spent some time just chatting, and hanging out.
As usual, the gals made amazing omiyage gifts but I neglected to take pictures of the projects.  However, here's the little goodie that I created for them.
I found this adorable charm at the local craft fair during the holiday seasons.

I created another set for Colleen.  However, since I didn't have another charm, I had to improvise:

Thanks for stopping by!

De-Stressing Class - Part Two

I'm happy to say that we are having our usual beautiful weather this morning.  Yesterday was just awful with the rain and traffic.  The Pali Tunnels are closed due to landslides and it took me 2.5 hours to get to work through the Wilson Tunnels yesterday.  Anyway,

Here are the rest of the cards we will be creating at Saturday's Class.

The stamp and Prayer diecut by Papertrey Ink.  The next card is a window card.

We used Stampin Up's Waterfront.  It was fun to create some Hawaiian scenary cards and I'm looking forward to creating a few more cards with this stamp set.

This last card is an optional card because it requires a lot of layers and patience that at the end it will just look fabulous. If you want to do this card, please bring at least 3 different blue ink pads (light, medium and dark blue), plus your black ink pad.  I also think that using a good sponge, large dauber or ink applicators make a huge difference in getting the de-stressing right.

Hope to see you at Saturday's Class
