On the Farm - Card Class

Happy Day!  The days are quickly going by!  We are having a card class on Saturday, May 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Jade's Place in Kailua.  Cost is $23.

Please bring your Basic Card Kit supplies (see below) and let me know if you are attending. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you there!

**Your Basic Card Kit Supplies should include: A paper trimmer, scissors, both tape and liquid adhesive, black ink marker/pen, pencil and eraser, ruler, Versamark Clear Ink Pad, dimensional tape, tweezers, a scoring tool (bone folder), corner rounder, and Stampin Up Simply Shammy.

Tango no Sekku

Boy's Day or "Tango no Sekku" is celebrated on May 5 in Japan. Unlike Hinatsuri (Girl's Day) when dolls are decorated at home, on this day, the families with boys will raise carp-shaped flags called "Koinobori" to express hope that their boys will grow to be healthy and strong.

I created little goodie bags for the boys and my co-workers filled with Umai Bo (Baked corn snack) and gummy candies.
