Little Boy's Thank You

"Use from your Stash" challenges have been spreading across the web lately and I have decided to join in.  Here's an oldie but goodie CTMH stamp set that I have held for a couple of years.  Perfect for my son's thank you cards.  Simple, sweet and done!!

So I offer this challenge to you!  Create something from your stash.  Get out that old stamp set that you have never used and put ink to it.

1st Birthday Punch Art

Finally finished...challenged myself with punch art. My cousin daughter's 1st birthday theme is Sesame Street. I hopped around blogland and selected Sesame Street characters to make. It was a fun challenge! 

A Musical Mahalo

My son has been playing Ukulele since he was five so I thought this A Place In Time Stencil would work perfectly for his thank you cards:

I just love this beautiful stencil with the Ilima lei wrapped around the Ukulele.

I used the dauber to apply the ink onto the stencil.  It gives an "airbrush" feel to it.  For a 3D look and feel, I went over the ilima flower lei with Pumpkin Liquid Pearl and then handwrote the MAHALO on each card.

Owl Birthday Card

Another quickie, last minute birthday card using SU Owl Punch and Cupcake Punch.  Chipboard letters, star embossing template and pre-made background card made this one a quick early morning project!!  (Yes, I did finish it at 4:30 a.m.)

Here's another graduation card I created during my lunch hour. The image and word art came from the computer and down below I stuck five $1 coins.  For being so last minute, I was able to finish all 10 in an hour!!

Christmas In June - Class

Wow, just got back from a mini vacation
 and all ready for my next class!!

It's called "Christmas in June"
 and we will be creating this project:

 It's a Holiday Cards, Tags and Pen gift set!

You will be creating the box, 2 cards, and 4 tags.

 

I know you love making cards and tags so let's get them boxed up

 and gift them to friends and family for Christmas!!!

Class is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Adhesive of your choice
1/4" double sided adhesive tape
Crop-a-Dile
Foam Tape (3 dimensional tape)
3 daubers
Ink applicable or sponge
piercing tool
A Place In Time Christmas Tree Stencil (#PL557)
Stickles: Gold, Patina and Xmas Red
TIm Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot or other black ink pad
SU Primrose Petals Ink pad (or similar colored ink pad)
VersaColor Bamboo Ink pad (or similar colored ink pad)
