AI Challenge Christmas Come Early Challenge #361

Hi, All:  In between classes, I thought I'd spend a little ME time and enter the AI Challenge Christmas Come Early.  Yes, it is a little early for Christmas cards, but the holidays are here and Christmas is right around the corner.  I used the following Art Impression stamps for this project:  Floral Invites, Greenery Invites, WC Christmas Wreath Set, and the adorable Gnome Set. Sentiment stamp by our local Rubber Stamp Plantation and colored it the Art Impression Way (watercoloring).

Kids Card Class - 9/30/2023

Kids Card Class is scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Jade's place in Kailua.  Cost: $25.00.

We will create some paper pieced cards for kids.  RSVP your space as soon as possible and bring your Basic Card Class Supply List and some fine tip adhesive for gluing all the pieces together.

Abstract Art - Class this Saturday

Good morning! Abstract Art has been on my mind this past month so we are creating some "abstract" cards. You would think it would be easy to just think of the layout but you need to think of placement, design, complementary colors and "white space". There are no pattern paper in this class and you can choose which sentiment you wish (i.e. create your own).

Feeling Special Day 2

Once you smell the Puakenikeni, you will always remember it. It is one of Hawaii’s most loved flowers with a beautiful balance of jasmine, clementine and water lily. Yesterday, the fresh flowers were white (freshly picked). When it turns yellow, the fragrance is at its most powerful. 

The Pikake lei reminds me of proms and special occasion, gifted by or given to a loved one. The flower is a Jasmine and we have different varieties here. The one pictured, is a single bud type.

I'm back from "vacation"!!

Playing around with some loose things on my working table. What do you think about this? Stamp set is a past Stampin Up Sale-a-Bration set and so reminiscent of Hawaii.
