Easter Baskets
Happy Easter, Everyone! 🌷
Sorry...no Easter card this year, just baskets. Super easy & fun to make. Exactly my kind of crafts! One side was embellished with a "Happy Easter" bunny stamp layered on punched scalloped circle & on the other side, a SU Blossom punch flower. Fill your basket(s) with Easter grass and goodies!
Baskets can be made for different occasions. You can alter and decorate them to your liking. So hop on over to Frenchies blog for a full video. Enjoy and most of all have FUN!
HAPPY EASTER!

Paper Trimmer Update ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some of you asked for an update on my Rotatrim paper trimmer and if I am still in love ;o) After using it extensively for 3 months, I STILL love it!! However, this paper trimmer is not for everyone!!
- There is a 2-inch-wide plastic finger guard to the left of the blade, you can't cut skinny strips of paper.
- You cannot cut multiple pieces of card stock; perhaps 2-3 sheets will fit under the finger guard.
- It is NOT a mobile trimmer!
I still love my paper trimmer. Yes, it has the limitations indicated above but I can cut skinny strips of paper other ways and I wasn't looking for a mobile trimmer. Yes, I can only cut a couple of paper at a time but I will NOT trade multiple cutting for precision cutting! The Rotatrim is built solid, it's heavy. I expect to have this baby for a L-O-N-G time!!
I know for most people (even me at one time), cost is a big factor. I would love to hear what values you look for in a paper trimmer and if you have found the trimmer that is right for your needs.
Tea card from Josie and Open call for March Tea Swap
Josie from Ontario, Canada made this beautiful card and tea bag holders:
I think she used a tea bag folding technique on her card.
The theme for this month's swap was "going green" and the optional color was Green.
"Happy Hinamatsuri"
Happy Hinamatsuri!! It's Girl's day today and I'm going to tea with a bunch of friends.
The above little purse is made from my new favorite die: Sizzix Scallop Envelope. You can purchase it from Stamping Up. You can create a little box (or purse) and fit 3 x 3 cards inside.
I just love it when I have on hand all the supplies to make 20 little purses!! The "paper" I used are Pre-Folded, Textured, and double-sided cards that come in a box from My Mind's Eye. One card will create one purse. The cards are heavy weight so you have to die cut one at a time or else the score lines get cutoff. After cutting 2 pieces, I cut a little strip for the handle.
A close up show of one of themOther supplies used: dewdrops, Futuru computer font, McGill Multitags punch
Kraft Quick Cards
When I saw a card that Maile Bells made here, I immediately thought --- Mmmm, don't have the stamp, but what would it look like if I cut the tree frame out?
Thoughts to paper and
this is what it looked like on a card
