Nearly every year, I take a girl trips with some friends I met through a really old scrapbooking message board. These trips have evolved over the years from scrapbook retreats to now they are more girl's trip all about sightseeing and photo ops in the city of the hostess. This particular year, we were in St. Louis. These photos are from the City Garden in downtown. Used Basic Grey papers and stickers.

LO Share - Randomly Kyle
Getting back into scrapbooking. These are some random photos of my ds and friends. It is time to break out some really old supplies and see what I can do with them. I used Making Memories acrylic paint (remember that?) and raw chipboard (stars). Also used old Scenic Route papers and Wordsworth quote.

GQ - Shirt & Tie
I'm sure you have had one of those days ... just in a slump, no energy to do any creating. No MOJO! Well, I'm having one of those and the only thing keeping me going are projects I am obligated to do. Here's one of those. It's a card I've created before. Simple to create and elegant and always generates praise (Thank goodness!) So this is a birthday card for a guy I've known for years at work.
The A2 card base is trimmed on the top one inch in on both sides, 1/2 inch from the top. The two trimmed areas are then folded down to make a collar. Take a 3" x 3" square pattern paper and fold origami style into a tie. Coil and wrap a piece of wire around the tie. Adhere the tie onto the base of the card "collar". Attach two brads on the collar. Add sentiment.
This will make a wonderful father's day or even boss' day card! Thanks for visiting our blog and hope YOU have a MOJO Day!

Playing with Magenta
In addition to the other Magenta stamp I showed earlier, I purchased 3 more and they are all on this card. This brand stamps clean and sharp for perfect effortless images!
After stamping, masking, stamping, spritzing, destressing and popping, a little Stickles was added.

Vintage Tea
I thought I'd make a little something for my tea swappers. There are approx 10 faithful ones and just wanted to show what great swappers they are and incorporate these cute little wooden tea pots.
Bff DeAnna gave them to me last year (thanks, D!) last year and I never got around to use them. I also found this adorable lime green ribbon at the trade show. The labels behind the tea pot is from the Sizzix Matchbook die.
MME Wild Asparagus paper line was used. Basic cardstock cut 8.5 x 11, scored 5.5" and 9.75". Score diagonally between the 2 score lines. Fold and adhere to look like this.
Corner round top edges. Cut blue pattern paper 4 x 5.25" Corner round edges and adhere inside pocket. The striped pattern paper is cut 4 x 1.5". B
Ribbon added and then added the teapot label. I included 2 Hawaiian Island Teas in flavors Mango Maui and Guava Ginseng. I will add a little note to each card with a tea quote.
