Two more scrap cards
I just love making cards from extras after completing a layout! I used scraps from a girly girl layout on the first card, ribbon from my PAWS Secret Santa (Thanks, Jeanne!) and a felt flower from HL. The orange piece was embossed using a cuttlebug embossing folder. The second card used some diecut paper from KI Memories, more of those circles from that same page kit as last time, Robin's Nest dew drops and a few other scraps and stickers. Both were quick!
I'm doing my take on Project-365 over at my personal blog http://my-crazy-never-still-life.blogspot.com/. My project name is 52 Weeks of Photos. I know myself. I will never take a photo every day for 365 days. But I might take a group of photos weekly.

Card - totally easy!
I was going through all my scrap stuff and came across a page kit. I think I got the kit at either SE08 or CE08 but I had no idea what the layout was supposed to look at. There was some paper and all these pre-cut circles out of various patterned papers. What a great way to make a quick cute card! Just cut and paste!. The little "Thanks" stamp is CTMH Say It With Style stamp set and the crystal is a Robin's Nest Dew Drop. This card took about 5 minutes. So, don't discard extra circles you made while scrapping - use them for a card!

A Tea Party
This past Saturday I went to tea with some co-workers at Tea at 1024, downtown Honolulu. I love going to tea with friends. It's kind of like a women ministry, we talk story, spend time together and just enjoy the companionship of our women friends.
It was the first "high tea" experience for two of the ladies so I made little congratulatory on their first tea gifts. A little box containing 5 tea bags and a quote:

When you’re feeling sad & blue
And have no clue what to do
Sit down and have a cup of tea
And a hug or two or maybe three
Feel those troubles melt away
And start you on a better day.
Here is a picture of the little gift.

Cards!
A couple of cards that I made this weekend when I went to a crop. I just love Nestabilities!! On the pink card, I used some Heidi Swapp papers that I had from a class at CE08 and a Nestability given to me by my Secret Santa. Stamp is by CTMH - it was the September SOTM but I have a feeling we'll see that stamp set in an upcoming catalog!. The black card also used Heidi Swapp papers from CE08 and another Nestability. The stamp is CTMH from the "Thoughts of You" set. Remember to save your scraps of great paper from classes. They make darling cards!

Quick birthday card
What do you do when you have a million things to do and your son needs a birthday card for tomorrow? Knowing the birthday boy could care less what the card looks like, yet you want it presentable, I quickly dug out the a blank card, cuttlebug embossing folder, TLC birthday rubons and my all time favorite boy embellishment: eyelets. Roughly 20 minutes to complete!
