Duded up and ready to go - 3 x 3 cards

Here are my cards all ready to go. They are "duded up" 3x3 cards for a swap. I knew I wanted to use my recent purchase, Flower Soft. Fun, little colorful pieces of "stuffing".
It's not due for another month but with so many deadlines and projects on my calendar, I thought I would do them now and send them all off to Texas. Stamps are from Hero Arts.

This is the Flower Soft kit I purchased from the LSS with 7 jars of fluff:

3x3 - Birthday girl card

If I had known just how useful these old TLC frames are, I would have definitely used them sooner! They fit perfected on a 3x3 card. No matting necessary. Needed a quick birthday tag for a gift this afternoon. Here's my little paper piecing/punch art birthday girl. After all these years, I still create these little people. This time, however, I added a smile which I normally don't.

Have a great weekend!

Butterfly Card

I joined a friend's butterfly swap under duress. Seriously, I don't do bugs much, and not really butterflies either. But, you know me, I can't miss out on anything so I joined up and fretted and drove my friends crazy while I was working on it. It actually came together better when she told me that the butterfly didn't need to be the focus and could be any size. Then I found that I owned (but never used) a QK butterfly die!

Be sure to check out the card I posted at my other blog my-crazy-never-still-life for another SBS that I'm going to at the end of April. Have a great evening!

Workshop Extravaganza (May 15)

A Place in Time is celebrating National Scrapbook day with "Workshop Extravaganza" on Saturday, May 15, from 9a to 6p. Read all about it here. There will be 3 project classes taught by different teachers.
Here is my project called Words In Motion, a folding book for that special person "Just Because" which measures a little over 4".

There are only 10 seats so first come, first serve. Hope to see you there!!

Cup of Tea

It's another tea swap and this card is going to Mandy in Florida along with some Te Teas I picked up near work: Black Velvet Chai and Guava Leaf Herbal Infusion. Knew I should have picked up a couple for myself. Maybe next time.

Sketch challenge

I believe this was a sketch from Mojo Monday. Great way to use up some scraps. I always love their sketch challenges but rarely actually get the card done during the week of the challenge. This one I actually did, but of course I didn't post it timely.

Papers and cardstock are CTMH, buttons from Karen's button container, with waxy flax (CTMH) tied. Ribbon is from my stash as are the rub-on. I cut the sentiment block with a Nestabilities die.

Check out my post over at my-crazy-never-still-life.

CTMH card

I made this card as part of a card order for a friend. Papers are from a special card kit CTMH had out this January. Stamp set is CTMH "One of A Kind" for the floral and CTMH "Say It In Style" for the sentiment. Ribbon is also CTMH.

Enjoy and go check out the card I posted on my personal blog my-crazy-never-still-life

Easter goodies

My little 4 year old helped me make 25 of these little goodie bags for co-workers containing Robin Eggs (Mmmmm...). Each little bag had a custom bunny punch art topper and I handwrote "Hoppy Easter". Have a great day!
